The project at the Four Seasons was initiated after the impacts from dredging of a shallow sandy lagoon to create a swimming area settled down. The excavated channel was mostly rocky, and with very limited life. The oldest trays are one and a half years old and are growing nicely, while many fish species have colonized the structures. Coral trays have been also put in other areas of the resort, in particular near the spa and the water villas.
